The Manaslu Circuit Trekking Permits have another additional fee, and these are new rules effective from 2024 autumn season from the Chumnubri Rural Municipality. The Manaslu Circuit Trek is a challenging adventure that offers stunning landscapes, cultural immersion, and the opportunity to conquer the Larkya La Pass. However, it's important to note that the cost of permits has recently increased.
Effective from the 2024 Autumn season, there are additional trekking fees:
- Foreigners: Rs. 1000
- Nepalese Trekkers: Rs. 200
The Chumnubri Rural Municipality is in charge of charging these fees to save lakes, monasteries, foot trails, shelters, and other purposes.
In addition to these additional fees, the Restricted Area Permit (RAP) for the Manaslu Circuit Trek is generally $75 per week. However, during peak seasons, the price may increase to $100 per week.
To complete the Manaslu Circuit Trek, you will also need the following permits:
- Annapurna Conservation Area Permit (ACAP): Rs. 3000
- Manaslu Conservation Area Permit (MCAP): Rs. 3000
How many trekking permits do we need to get for the Manaslu Circuit Trek?
Now, after these new rules, you will need three permits for the Manaslu Circuit Trek.
- The Department of Immigration issues Restricted Area Permits (RAP).
- The National Trust for Nature Conservation (NTNC) grants Annapurna Conservation Area Permits (ACAP) and MCAP
- Chumnubri Rural Municipality: Issued by the Chumnubri Rural Municipality upon entering the Manaslu Conservation Area.
