If you’ve ever wondered how your job is carried out in another country, here’s your chance. This day tour package facilitates a rich cultural exchange involving you, a visitor, and a local Nepali trading stories, experience, and knowledge about life and your careers. This happens by actually being with someone from Nepal while they are on-the-job. You will experience a typical day with someone in your career field, a priceless experience you’ll never forget.
For example, if you are a doctor, we will arrange so that you will hangout with and work alongside a Nepali doctor in a Nepali hospital for a day. If you are a professor, you can spend a day at Tribhuvan University, shadowing a professor in your field of research. The person that you shadow may ask you to complete some minor tasks. This will allow you to gain comprehensive knowledge about what an employee who holds your particular job does each day. If you have recently graduated and have not yet chosen a career path, tell us your interests and we will find a shadow/internship opportunity for you!
This ‘tour’ transcends the typical tourist experience. This is a mutually beneficial cultural exchange, as you are both sharing your expertise and insight with each other. Regardless of the amount of experience you have in your field, you are bound to learn something new from the Job Shadow.
We will arrange a compatible job shadow as best we can. Also, we can manage the shadow for several days and/or at different locations if you would like. If you would like, we can arrange a Job Shadow outside of the Kathmandu Valley as well.
