Bum Bolenath!  Welcome to the only trip that lets you have a taste of Nepal’s famous ganja grown in the foothills of the Himalayas. On this one-of-a-kind day tour, we head to the sacred cremation grounds of Pashupatinath Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, to spend the day getting high with the sadhus.  A sadhu is a holy man of the Hindu religion who renounces worldly life and seeks salvation through meditation upon the Brahman.  Many of them believe that smoking charas (cannabis) is a fundamental part of reaching moksha (liberation). We’ll be smoking all day with these holy men, participating in their path toward liberation.  You too, after smoking chillum after chillum, will clear your mind of any troubles or worries you might have.  You can smoke in your hostel at any time, but how often do you get the opportunity to hit a chillum with Sadhus as they share their timeless wisdom?

Our Smoke Day Tour happens on Shivaratri, “The Great Night of Shiva,” which takes place once a year in February or March.  The holiday marks the remembrance of overcoming darkness and ignorance in the world.  There is no better place to be on Shivaratri than Pashupatinath, as it is the central pilgrimage destination for sadhus.

If you want to join another time and want to get high, then we can also arrange this trip. Let us know

Before we depart, we snap some photos with the sadhus, who don’t seem to have changed after the copious amount of ganja smoked.  They still seem to exist on a different plane of existence.  After your fair share of smoking, we have a snack to satisfy our munchies and drop you off at your hotel for a nice restful sleep. This trip caters to both new smokers and seasoned veterans.  We will provide a comfortable, relaxed experience for you. You will not be pressured to continue smoking if you are satisfied where you are, as the sadhus have an exceptionally high tolerance for charas.
