    This Bhutan tour is designed for tourists who have limited time to tour Bhutan but want to see and experience as much of the real Bhutan as possible during their short stay. As a result, this tour includes long journeys, particularly from Paro to Punakha, as well as a tight daily itinerary. This itinerary lasts 4 nights and 5 days and includes visits to and tours of Bhutan's Western Districts of Paro, Thimphu, and Punakha.

    Your flight to Paro will take you over the majestic Himalayan range, including Mount Everest, Mount Kanchenjunga, Mount Jumolhari, and Mount Jichu Drake. On arrival at Paro Airport, you will be welcomed by our representatives and transferred to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. Depending on your arrival time, you may have time to explore Thimphu's streets and mingle with the locals. Your guide will be with you to make sure you have a great experience.

      Day trip to Punakha from Thimphu

      In the morning, drive to Dochula Pass, a scenic mountain pass with stunning views of the Himalayas. There are 108 chortens (Buddhist stupas) at Dochula Pass, which were built by the Queen Mother in 1998 for the long life of the fourth king of Bhutan. After spending some time at Dochula Pass, continue to Punakha, the former capital of Bhutan. Punakha Dzong is a beautiful fortress that was built in 1637. It is located at the confluence of two rivers, the Mo Chu and the Pho Chu. In the afternoon, visit Punakha Dzong and learn about its history and significance. In the evening, enjoy a traditional Bhutanese dinner in Punakha. Night halt in Punakha.

        Day trip to Chimi Lhakhang and Thimphu

        After breakfast, drive to Chimi Lhakhang, a temple known for its fertility blessings. The temple was built by a naughty saint in 1499, and it is believed that couples who pray here will be blessed with children.  After visiting Chimi Lhakhang, drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. In the afternoon, visit the Memorial Chorten, a stupa built in memory of the third king of Bhutan. In the evening, visit the local crafts bazaar, where you can buy traditional Bhutanese textiles, arts, and crafts.

          After an early breakfast, drive for about an hour and a half to Paro, where you will begin your walk to the world-famous Taktsang Monastery. At a moderate pace, the hike takes around 4 to 5 hours up and back down. Tea and refreshments will be served half way to the Monastery, where you may enjoy the view of the Tigers Nest Monastery on the other side while sipping your tea. Taktsang Monastery is located on a 900-meter cliff and is where the Guru Rimpoche arrived on the back of a tigress. He meditated here, and the Paro valley is said to have blossomed with richness in food and religion ever since. Evening in Paro
