                              • Autumn (September-November) and spring (late February-mid-April) are the best times of year to visit Nepal, as the weather is pleasant and there are many festivals to enjoy. The monsoon season (June-August) is not often recommended by travel blogs or tour operators, but it can be a good time to visit if you are interested in experiencing the wet season in Nepal. Winter (December-February) can be cold, but you can still enjoy the tour if you dress warmly. Many Europeans, such as Spanish and Italians, come to Nepal during the monsoon season and have a great time on the Taste of Nepal Tour.

                              • There are many places that people must visit again and again to explore Nepal. Among these places, the heritage sites of Kathmandu, such as Swayambhunath Stupa, Boudhanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, Kathmandu Durbar Square (home of the living goddess Kumari), Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square, and Changunarayan, are the top sites to visit within Kathmandu. Chitwan National Park or Bardia National Park are great places to go on a wildlife safari. Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, Namo Buddha Monastery, and Pharping Monastery are all Buddhist pilgrimage sites. Of course, we can't forget the mighty Himalayas, including Mount Everest, Mount Fishtail, and Mount Annapurna, which are all popular tourist destinations around the world. These mountain peaks can be seen from the cities, or you can take an Everest flight or a helicopter tour to land at one of them. The lakes, waterfalls, rivers, and greenery-covered mountains can all be seen from Pokhara, Chitwan, and Nagarkot. The Taste of Nepal Tour Package covers almost all of the must-see places in Nepal. Optional add-on packages, such as the Annapurna Base Camp Helicopter Landing Tour or the Everest Base Camp Helicopter Landing Tour, can also be arranged as part of this trip plan.

                              • There are many ways to get around Nepal, depending on your budget and the way you want to experience the country. You can take local buses or tourist buses that go to popular tourist destinations, such as Kathmandu-Pokhara, Chitwan, Lumbini, and Nagarkot. For a more luxurious experience, you can travel by private air-conditioned car, jeep, land cruiser, or deluxe bus for groups. Almost all major tourist destinations are accessible by air, so flying is another quick option. Let us know how you want to explore and experience Nepal, and we will be happy to help you plan your trip.

                              • Tourist visa on arrival is the only entry visa to Nepal by land or by air. If you are visiting Nepal for purposes other than tourism (sightseeing, touring, traveling, mountaineering, trekking, or visiting friends and family), you must still obtain a tourist visa to enter the country. Indian nationals are now visa-exempt but must carry a valid passport. For more information on Nepal visa fees and processing, please follow the link.

                              • In Nepal, it is customary to greet someone by putting your palms together in a prayer-like gesture called "namaste." Do not take it personally if a Nepalese person hesitates to shake your hand, as Western traditions have only recently become commonplace in Nepal. Major Hindu temples are usually off-limits to foreigners, so do not enter one unless you have been given permission. Leather goods are prohibited inside temples, and you should also avoid stepping on the small circular or rectangular stones or metal mandalas that are often found on the ground in front of shrines. These are just a few of the most common cultural dos and don'ts in Nepal. However, major tourist areas are not as conservative as they were in the 1960s or 1980s, and the local people are quite modern in their way of thinking. Just be aware of cultural sensitivities, especially when interacting with local families. For example, kissing is considered to be quite awkward in Nepal.

                              • Absolutely, the Taste of Nepal Tour can be a luxury tour package. All accommodations, except for the short trek section of Ghorepani-Ghandruk, can be arranged in luxury resorts or hotels.
